Motivated by a growing frustration with the lack of genuine recommendations, I wanted to create a platform to incentivize influencers and thought-leaders to share their genuine insight while still being able to make a living. The dominance of sponsored posts, paid ads, and affiliate marketing leads to biased recommendations that may not truly reflect the best products or services available. Recognizing this lack of trustworthy recommendations, I set out to create a platform that would empower users to seek advice from experts and trusted individuals rather than relying solely on impersonal reviews or sponsored content. We provide a solution that empowers influencers and thought leaders to answer their followers' questions and charge them a few dollars for each reply. Influencers can charge for brand, product, or personal advice while thought-leaders can charge for expertise or niche advice such as career advice.
The product is ready to be used. I'm a builder, not a marketer. If you know how to push things to market, it's ready to go. It's also not my full-time job and have not been able to personally tie my network to the product. I've also kept it US only as I didn't have time to research tax and license requirements for other countries. Just a flip of a switch in Stripe to allow others.
