Asking Price Reasoning
We spent roughly 80% of our effort on product and 20% on distribution. The asking price reflects the resulting software portfolio, existing subscription revenue and the content, audience and automations included in the acquisition. A buyer with stronger marketing and sales capabilities would have products already in use and several expansion paths to pursue: English-speaking markets, agency packages and cross-selling between complementary tools.

We are two technical founders who have focused primarily on building the products and the infrastructure behind them. Our commercial reach has been concentrated in the French-speaking market, mainly serving freelancers, independent professionals, and solo entrepreneurs. Our ability to scale distribution and sell to larger organizations has been more limited than our ability to build software. We see three opportunities for a buyer with complementary commercial strengths: 1. Develop a premium AI agent offering. Build on the existing content tools, CRM, messaging capabilities, and LinkPost MCP connector to coordinate more of the LinkedIn acquisition workflow. This could support a higher-value offering centered on work completed and time saved. 2. Expand distribution in English-speaking markets. Bilingual email workflows, educational resources, and existing USD sales provide a starting point. A buyer with an English-speaking audience, partner network, or sales capability could build on this foundation. 3. Introduce agency and team plans. Our focus has been on individual users with smaller budgets and less predictable retention. Multi-client workspaces, collaboration, approval workflows, and consolidated reporting could open access to agencies and larger businesses with higher contract values. These opportunities require further development and commercial validation. A buyer would inherit working products and supporting assets, with room to apply their own distribution, positioning, and sales expertise. We are two developers at heart. We spent roughly 80% of our time building the products and 20% on distribution, because building software is what we enjoy most and where our strengths lie. That focus has produced a substantial product and operational foundation, while commercial expansion has received less attention. The opportunity for a marketing-led buyer is to reverse that balance: take the products we have built and put distribution, positioning, and sales at the center. A buyer’s strongest skills could address the areas we have invested in least.

Selling Reasoning
  • Business challenges
  • Lifestyle change
  • Starting a new venture
  • Financial gain
We are exploring a sale because our strengths and interests are in building software, while the next stage of the business calls for greater focus on distribution and sales. We are two developers at heart, and we have spent roughly 80% of our time on product development and 20% on distribution. Building is what we enjoy most and where our strengths lie. We have built three complementary SaaS products, an educational offering, and the infrastructure and resources that support them. Our commercial focus has remained primarily on French-speaking freelancers, independent professionals, and solo entrepreneurs. A buyer with strong marketing and sales skills could reverse that balance, building on the existing products while putting distribution and commercial development at the center. We see opportunities in English-speaking markets, agency and team plans, and a premium AI agent offering. These would require further development and commercial validation, but a new owner would have an existing foundation to work from. And, to be completely honest, there is a personal motivation too. Alongside building software, we also sell educational products. In the entrepreneurial communities we follow on X and YouTube, completing an exit carries recognition, and we would be lying if we said that had no influence on us. Building something from scratch that someone else chooses to buy and take forward would be a milestone for us. Frankly, we think completing our first exit would be pretty cool. It would make us proud, make our families proud, and give us firsthand experience to share with the people who follow and learn from us. That personal ambition is part of our motivation, alongside finding an owner whose strengths complement ours and who wants to lead the business into its next stage.
