While DJing ourselves at private events, we saw firsthand that guests and DJs lacked a great platform to interact. From there we built an SMS-based engagement and branding platform. Think Fivestars but for DJs, musicians and venues. Each user receives a number, which allows guests to interact by requesting songs, sending tips, playing games, or sending photos. It will respond with custom auto-replies and blast a thank-you message with a contact card at the end of the event. Our involvement in the private event DJ community has made the brand widely recognized. SMS is underutilized by the events and marketing industry. There’s a missed opportunity to engage with millennials and Gen Z through their preferred medium.
