Business Model
  • Business-to-consumer (B2C)
  • Services
  • Subscription
Customers buy prepaid singing experiences with Broadway performers in New York City. Nights typically bring around 12 guests together in a private room for two hours. Guests can come alone or with friends; they do not need to know the other guests. Paid events use two Broadway performer hosts and no emcee. The established sales process takes prospects from an ad or landing page to a roughly 15-minute call and personalized payment link. After payment, the operator collects availability, schedules attendance and arranges hosts and the venue. Paid ads are currently paused. Historical pass offers included $497 and $997, with different guest inclusions; memberships are separate. The buyer takes over sales, follow-up, customer service and delivery. Existing schedules and operating guides support the handover. Private-event inquiry and client tools are also built, ready for a focused commercial test.
Tech Stack
  • Ruby on Rails
  • PostgreSQL
  • Stripe
The custom Ruby on Rails website uses PostgreSQL and Stripe. It supports lead records, call bookings, personalized payment links and customer follow-up. Private-event inquiry pages and a client portal were added in September 2026. The operating setup also uses Railway, Klaviyo, Luma, Google Workspace and Skool. The sale includes the agreed codebase, operating documentation and permitted email, SMS and customer records, with account and consent checks handled in the handover. The operator manages sales calls, scheduling and event delivery.
Growth Opportunities
  • Improve conversion rates
  • Social media marketing
  • Increase content marketing
The first test I would run is private events, using the inquiry and client tools already built. Group bookings could support a higher sale value, but the test should measure sales effort, time to deposit, full delivery costs and contribution. If completed events generate surplus after existing customer services are funded, I would invest part of it in organic video that shows the experience and brings in consumer and private-event inquiries. Consumer acquisition can then be tested with controlled spending, clear offers and reliable call follow-up. Historical $497 plus-one offers are a useful starting point for another test. Longer-term options include formal Broadway show partnerships, band nights, a dedicated NYC space, a media brand and large events such as Madison Square Garden, and international locations. These are possible directions, not commitments. The buyer may stop at any stage or choose a different strategy.

Selling Reasoning
  • Starting a new venture
I built this business to test an experience I felt New York City needed: a small, welcoming night where everyday people could sing with Broadway performers. It now has paying customers, strong customer reviews and documented sales and delivery processes. My strength and interest are taking ideas from zero to one. I am seeking someone who wants to run this events business long term. I want to focus on new projects instead of funding the next private-event advertising tests or building an organic social program. A buyer with sales and event capacity can bring those skills to the next phase. I prefer cash at closing, with separately agreed, limited transition or advisory support.
