Homeschool Compliance and Organization Platform With Active Paying Users

A South Carolina homeschool compliance and lesson-tracking SaaS built specifically for SC law. SC families must complete 180 instructional days, teach required subjects (K-6: Reading, Writing, Math, Science, Social Studies; 7-12: Literature, Composition, Math, Science, Social Studies), keep attendance records, and maintain a portfolio of work samples — under Option 1 (district), Option 2 (SCAIHS), or Option 3 (third-party association). It handles all three. It automatically tracks attendance toward the 180-day requirement, organizes daily lesson records by subject and curriculum, stores portfolio work samples in the cloud, handles breaks/vacations with automatic forward schedule recalculation, and generates printable Attendance Reports and detailed Progress Reports. Built-in optional AI helpers help parents get unstuck, build on yesterday's lesson, and find low-stimulation activities — core features work fully without AI. Beyond families, there is a B2B channel: Option 3 accountability associations get a read-only admin dashboard, seat-based billing (buy more seats, prorated), family roster/coverage management, and printable reports per family. The product is complete and live — not a prototype: 5-step onboarding, daily Today tracking, subjects/curricula manager, calendar, portfolio, archive/finish-year and prepare-next-year wizards, summer mode, grades, full settings/billing via Stripe Customer Portal, in-app support, and 11 SEO pages targeting SC homeschool searches. Everything runs automated: Stripe checkout, webhooks, subscription quantity sync per billable child, association seat coverage triggers, email via Resend. Seller will provide 2 weeks of transition support post-close. Buyer questions, answered upfront: Why are you selling? I am shifting focus to my real estate business. This runs automatically. It needs an owner who wants to grow it, not maintain it. What exactly do I get? The LLC itself. The platform, domain, trademark, bank accounts, Stripe account with live subscriptions, codebase, and customer base transfer together. Because the entity transfers, subscribers do not need to re-subscribe or migrate payments. Why is trailing profit only $1,200 on $3,028 in revenue? I reinvested most revenue into ads to grow it. Ads are now off. September ran at 85% profit and the current month is running at nearly 95% profit, with costs mainly payment processing and basic infrastructure. How much work is it week to week? Billing, onboarding, scheduling, reports, and support routing are automated. Owner time is essentially answering occasional support emails and deciding how to grow it. Is South Carolina only a limitation? It is the niche and the moat. Compliance rules are structured by state in the code, so expanding means adding a new state's rules, not rebuilding the product. SC associations also buy seat-based plans for their families, a B2B channel that is already built. Do customers get interrupted by a sale? No. Because the LLC transfers, subscriptions and bank accounts stay with the entity. Any debt or investors? No. Bootstrapped, no outstanding debt, no investors. What help do I get after buying? Two weeks of transition support from me, including a walkthrough of the platform, accounts, and operations. Do I need to be a developer? The stack is standard (React, TypeScript, Supabase, Stripe) and the product is built and deployed through Lovable, so keeping it running and making changes does not require rebuilding anything. Growth outlook: Growth in this niche is seasonal. New families join at two points, mid-year switchers in December and January, and in the summer before a new school year. That pattern already showed up in 2026, when July and August were the two biggest revenue months. I expect 100% growth over the next year as accountability associations come on board alongside those December and summer waves of new families. That is my expectation as the seller, not a guarantee, and it is not in the historical numbers above. The bigger opportunity is national. This is built for one state today, but the compliance engine is structured so new states can be added. I estimate a first year expanded to all states could reach $300,000 in annual revenue. For scale, average revenue per active family is about $130 a year at current pricing, so that figure is roughly 2,300 families nationwide. The vision for the national rollout is a clean map of the US as the front door. A family clicks their state on the map, or picks it from a dropdown, and lands in that state's version, same look and feel, tailored to that state's law. South Carolina stays exactly as it is today, it is simply its place on the map. States not yet live show as coming soon with an email signup, so demand is visible state by state before each new state is built. Search visibility is a built-in asset, not an afterthought. The site is optimized for both Google and AI search, with dedicated pages for the exact searches South Carolina families run, how to homeschool in this state, state requirements, attendance tracking, record keeping, a compliance checklist, and portfolio examples, plus structured FAQ data and an AI-readable site file. It holds a strong position at the top of both traditional search and AI-generated results for these searches, so new families can find it organically without paid ads.

Asking Price Reasoning
$9,000 for the entire LLC in one transfer: live SaaS, full codebase, federal trademark, domain, Stripe account with active subscription products, Supabase backend, bank accounts, and 11 SEO pages. Fully bootstrapped, no outstanding debt. Priced deliberately under $10k for a fast, clean close — replacement cost to rebuild this compliance engine, association dashboard, and billing automation from scratch is multiples of the ask.

Growth Opportunities
  • Increase digital marketing
  • Expand to new markets
  • New product features
  • Focus on SEO
  • Increase content marketing
  • Improve conversion rates
Expand the compliance engine beyond SC (code is SC-only today; state code and required subjects are structured so a buyer can replicate per state; additional states are noted as planned in the FAQ). Sell association seats at scale to SC Option 3 associations (channel already built). SEO pages already target SC homeschool intent; expand content and other states. Convert trial users; push yearly plans. Add transcript/grade exports (gradebook exists; no standalone transcript module yet).
